Women fall to Mt. Hood in Yakima
The BCC women’s basketball team lost to Mt. Hood’s team on Nov. 23. BCC won the first half with 40 points, while Mt. Hood only put up 38 points. In the second half, BCC was outscored by Mt. Hood 36-31, giving Mt. Hood the final score of 74-71. Lead Scorers for BCC were Amanda Harms with 15 points and Phyella Francis with 13 points.
Men beat Yakima Valley at Home
The BCC men’s basketball team defeated Yakima valley 77-61 in the final game of the Bulldog Classic on November 23. BCC trailed Yakima valley during the first half 33-29. In the second half, BCC put up 48 points to Yakima’s 28. This gave BCC the win of 77-61. Lead scorers for BCC were Curron Singleton with 17 points and Rahiti Mahere with 15 points.
