Every quarter, the BC Foundation has a fundraising event at BC sports games to get people excited about BC sports as well as to fund the foundation’s activities. On Sept. 26, the foundation teamed up with Bellevue Brewing Company to have a free beer garden for adult attendees of the BC soccer games that day.
Those who desired it were allowed two free beers, with the brewing company bringing a pale ale and an amber ale for interested individuals to try out. The BC Foundation was on site, selling BC branded fleece blankets and talking to attendees about the “We are BC” campaign.
The women’s team played Lower Columbia College and the men played South Puget Sound College with BC coming out victorious both times, winning 7-0 and 3-1 respectively.
