Following multiple government initiatives to get test kits into the hands of the American people, the United States Postal Service, or USPS, is now offering free at-home COVID-19 testing kits. After providing your shipping and contact information, the kits will be shipped in late January to all requesters, with no payment needed. To order your kits, fill out the form on the official USPS website.

During the current surge of the Omicron variant, it’s important to stay careful and continue all efforts to stop the spread. Socially distancing, masking up when indoors, and staying away from crowded spaces with poor ventilation can all help significantly. If you suspect you could be infected, get tested as soon as possible and avoid contact with other individuals. If you aren’t already, consider getting vaccinated so that you can protect yourself and others from the virus.

Do keep in mind, there is a limit of four kits per residence, with Washington residents eligible for five more through Say Yes!. If you run into any issues while placing your order, there is a support line available at 1(800)-232-0233. The tests may take more than 7-12 days to ship. Remember, stay positive and test negative!
